G'day. I'm Michael Long.
(π MOO online β same bloke.)
Whatever the task β I sort it out properly.
You found me on Airtasker. Smart move β beats sending fifteen DMs to "agencies" who farm you out to a stranger, or hiring a freelancer who ghosts the second your invoice clears. I take on websites, IT rescues, resumes, design, EA work, tutoring, and pretty much anything you can do remotely with a brain and a keyboard.

An Aussie. A keyboard.
No middlemen.
I'm an Australian Full Stack Developer working remotely from General Santos City in the Philippines. That's the whole magic trick: native English communication and Aussie work ethic, but my overheads are a fraction of a Sydney studio's. So your Airtasker quote actually makes sense.
I do the work myself. The brief, the design, the code, the resume edit, the DNS untangle, the email signature mock-up β whatever it is. There's no junior, no project manager, no "let me check with the team." Just me. And a lot of strong coffee.
The Geo-Arbitrage
Aussie native, Aussie hours-friendly, Aussie work standards. Filipino cost-of-living. You get the saving β not an agency leasing a Pyrmont office.

Don't take my word for it.
Airtasker tracks four things. Here's how 213 customers scored me:
Real Reviews. Real Names. Real Tasks.
Pulled straight from Airtasker β websites, IT rescues, resumes, design, EA work, tutoring. Click through to verify any of them yourself.

Every review on Airtasker is from a paying customer with a verified, completed task. No fakes, no incentives, no gaming.
Got a follow-up? Annoy me. It's free.
Most freelancers ghost the second the invoice clears. I don't. If something I delivered is broken, wonky, or just a bit dodgy β message me. If it's within reason, I sort it out. Free. Forever. Whether the task was a website, a CV, or a Gmail rescue.
β Free Forever (Within Reason)
- β Typos, broken links, image swaps
- β Resume tweaks, cover letter phrasing edits
- β "It worked yesterday and now it doesn't" follow-ups
- β Quick "how do I do X again?" walk-throughs
- β Browser quirks, display bugs, login resets
- β Anything ~15 minutes or less
β οΈ Not Free (Post a New Task)
- β Adding new pages, sections, or features
- β Redesigns or "let's change everything"
- β A whole new resume for a different role
- β New integrations (Stripe, Mailchimp, CRM, etc.)
- β Major rewrites I have to do from scratch
- β Anything that's clearly a new project
"Within reason" means I trust you to know the difference. Most people do.
Booking a Website Build?
Most other tasks are one-and-done. Websites have moving parts and ongoing costs, so here's the deal in plain English β what's bundled into the Airtasker quote, and the only thing on top.
β Everything In Your Build Quote
- π¨ Custom design β no templates. I sketch, you sign off, I build.
- π± Mobile-first β most visitors are on a phone; I build for that first.
- π Fast loading β optimised images, clean code, proper caching.
- π¨ Working contact form β spam-protected, lands in your real inbox.
- π SEO basics done right β meta tags, sitemap, schema, alt text.
- π Free SSL + security β HTTPS, security headers, dotfiles blocked.
- π Google Analytics set up β see who's visiting and what they do.
- π§ Email forwarding β hello@yourbiz.com.au pointing to your real inbox.
- π€ The handover β logins, walk-through video, plain-English doc on updating content.
The Only Thing On Top of Airtasker:
That's not my fee. That's the actual wholesale cost of registering your domain and parking your site on a fast, Aussie-friendly server.
- π Domain: ~$20β30/yr
- π¦ Hosting: ~$110β120/yr (SSD, daily backups)
- π° My cut: $0. Pay direct if you want.
β οΈ Watch out for "free hosting" Airtasker quotes β that's almost always a year-one bait price that triples in year two. Mine doesn't do that.

From "G'day" to Done
No surprises, no scope creep. Same flow whether it's a five-page website or a one-page CV.
Holler
Message me on Airtasker with what you need. Five sentences is plenty β I'll ask for anything I'm missing.
Quote
I send back a fixed quote on Airtasker β what's included, what's not, how long it'll take. You accept or we tweak.
Work
Quick tasks: same day. Bigger jobs: I send progress updates. You'll never have to chase me for a status.
Deliver
Final files / live site / done CV β handed over on Airtasker. Worry-free promise kicks in from day one.
Common Airtasker Questions
No bull. Here's what people usually want to know.
π General
Do you only do websites? What other tasks do you take on?
Definitely not just websites. Looking at the 213-review pile, the breakdown is roughly: ~40% web work, ~25% IT rescues (email, DNS, business profiles), ~15% resumes and career documents, ~10% design (logos, signatures, video edits), ~10% EA / admin / tutoring / everything else. If your task is remote and requires a brain and a keyboard, I probably do it. Send the listing and I'll tell you straight whether I'm the right fit.
How fast can you turn something simple around?
Most resumes, cover letters, email signatures, single-bug IT fixes, and "format this document" tasks come back same day β often within a couple of hours of accepting the task. Bigger jobs (websites, redesigns, multi-task fixes) take 1β2 weeks. I'll tell you the realistic timeframe in the quote, not after.
Why are your quotes cheaper than Sydney/Melbourne agencies?
Because I work from the Philippines, not Surry Hills. My rent is a fraction of what a Pyrmont studio pays. Same Aussie native English, same work, half the overhead. That saving lands in your pocket β not in some agency's office lease.
Can I pay through Airtasker like normal?
Yep. Airtasker payments work exactly the same way for me as for any other tasker. Your money is held in escrow until the work is done β that's part of why hiring through Airtasker is safer than going direct on a freelancer cold.
Can you work weekends or different time zones?
Yes. I run on Aussie business hours by default but I'm flexible β early morning, late evening, weekends if it's urgent. Time zones haven't been a problem in years of remote work. Most of my fastest turnarounds happen overnight (your time) because I'm already up.
What if my task is a tech rescue and I'm not sure if it's fixable?
Send me the details and I'll tell you honestly. I've cancelled tasks where the issue was clearly unfixable rather than charging for a wild goose chase. If I think the fix is straightforward, I'll quote. If I think it's risky, I'll say so before you commit.
π If You're Booking a Website Build
What about the $140/year β is that hidden by you?
No, it goes straight to the domain registrar and the host. I take zero on top. You can pay them directly with your own card if you'd rather β I'll set everything up under your account so you fully own it. The $140 figure is a realistic estimate; sometimes it's $130, sometimes it's $150 depending on the domain extension you pick.
Do I own the website when it's done?
100%. The domain is in your name, the hosting is in your name, the code lives on your server, the logins are yours. If you ever decide to fire me, you can hand the whole thing to another developer with no drama. (You won't, but it's important you can.)
What if I want changes to the website after launch?
If it's a small fix or content update β typo, new phone number, swapped photo β message me. It's free. If it's a new feature or a bigger redesign, post a new task on Airtasker. I'll quote it like any other job, usually for less than a brand-new build because I already know your codebase.
What if I already have a domain or hosting?
Cool β we use them. The $140/year only applies if you need me to set both up fresh. If you've already got a domain registered and a hosting plan, your only cost is the Airtasker build quote.
Do you do e-commerce / online stores?
Small ones, yes β under ~50 products with Stripe checkout. Larger stores I'd usually steer you toward Shopify because reinventing the wheel costs you more than it should. Either way, post the task and I'll tell you straight whether I'm the right fit.
Right then. Ready to graze?
Hop back to my Airtasker profile and either book the listing you came from or send me a message about your task. I'll reply with a fixed quote, no agency-speak.
